She has learned to close doors....the laundry room door, her bedroom door, the dishwasher door, etc. She closes the door on me while I'm in the laundry room and thinks it's hilarious, but when she closes herself inside her room and then realizes she can't open it, she gets very upset. On her play kitchen, she will open and close the door back and forth and back and forth. That game never seems to get old.
She has recently started matching her shape toys by placing the appropriate shape into the shape sorter box or the shape sorter on the play kitchen refridgerator. Before we would have to tell her where to put them but now certain shapes (circle, square, and occasionally the triangle) she fits it in just right. Then she claps.
It's funny how all of a sudden she is interested in all the parts to things. She wants to cap her bottles, put the shapes inside their box, put toys inside their toy basket, etc. I wonder if she has my weird sense of "everything in its place"?
We have an xylophone that we've had for a while and now she can actually hit the notes with the drumstick correctly. It now makes music.
I told you before about her getting Rocky's leash when it's time to go for our walk. So, yesterday she got a hold of his leash and set the hook that usually connects to his collar on his back. When he walked off and the leash fell to the floor, she looked at me like "what happened?"
That's all for now. Hope everyone has a great week.

And someone has a birthday, right around the corner?
How time does fly ! Savor every moment, when you can hold her in your arms. All to soon, she'll be up, & running.
