10 Days of Christmas with our Families

December 10th through the 20th, we took a trip back "home". We got to go back to Louisiana to visit my family and then to Mississippi to visit Andy's family and to get there we all had to get on an airplane. This was a first for our little family but it all went well and we're so glad we made the trip! There were lots of highlights and I tried my best to make a picture of the time we had with everyone. There are a lot of pictures so beware....

Nona and Kinsey at Superior (an excellent Mexican restaurant in Shreveport)

Us at the Rose Center...a really cool place to walk and see lights.

Chloe and Kinsey (Chloe and Lauren spent about a month with us right after Andy left for Iraq and the girls haven't seen each other since then. It was a fun reunion!)

Avery didn't wish to be a part of this picture. :)

Don't you just want to kiss those sweet cheeks??? I sure do!

We met Nona and Granddaddy's new puppy, Molly, one night after dinner. She's the cutest little thing.

Avery Dot met Grandma Dot, whom she's named after, for the first time on this trip.

For those who don't know...this is Tylertown, MS dress.

Kinsey and Logan

Aunt Lucretia with Kinsey (whom she calls "Cretia"). She loved Aunt Lucretia. I would find her in Neal and Lucretia's room after we were all awake talking to her and then following her around to talk to her. I thought that was really sweet.

Our newest addition to the Fortenberry family: Lindsey married David this year!

She couldn't get enough of this ride...Daddy, Uncle Neal, Uncle Ted, Uncle Glen all gave her a ride. She would have slept on this thing if we would've let her!!! Mississippi girl for sure.

On our way home-happy to see the plane pull in.

Avery ready to get home as well. We were all pretty tired.

Whew! We made it. All this luggage made it home safely with no problems.

Mawmaw, I didn't get one picture of you. How did that happen? This is your hello :) Love you all and we're so glad we got to see everyone! Our Christmas at home was the greatest and I will post about that later. I'll give you a few days to soak up all these pictures. :)
