Sweet Little Baby Girl

This has been an eventful week with Kinsey. She lost her umbilical cord, which was exciting since we can now forfeit sponge baths. Those took both of us and she still hated it most of the time. She's getting used to being home though. We are learning what makes her comfortable and what some of her crying cues are. There are still some mysteries we have yet to learn but that will come with time.

I would say the highlight of the week was today. As a family we went to a park here in town that has lots of trails for biking and walking. Andy rode his bike on some of the unpaved trails and Kinsey and me went on the paved ones. It was a beautiful Texas day, so we took advantage of being outside together. This was our first fun family outing; it actually wasn't a doctor's appointment!
